Attention small businesses owners!

The FirstOntario 1Awards features a prize pool of $200,000 for winning businesses

The 1Awards small business competition is locally owned and grown, created by a network of nearby businesses and community partners to reward and recognize hardworking entrepreneurs who are committed to long-term success and who show consideration for their community.

This year, $200,000 in rewards is up for grabs – $32,500 cash and $167,500 in professional, in-kind services.

Eligible businesses have been open for more than two years, with less than 50 employees and have a home base in Hamilton, Halton, Brant, Niagara or surrounding areas. 

The deadline to apply is 11:59 p.m. on March 31! If you need more time to finish your application, you can save and come back to it later. Successful applicants (10) will move onto the next round and pitch to a panel of judges who have a unique understanding of what it takes to succeed.
