Set up pre-authorized savings

You choose the amount, the account, and how often you save. You can even transfer to your RRSP and TFSA — just remember your contribution limits.

1. Log in to online banking and click Transfers in the left navigation menu
2. Select Transfer Between Accounts
3. Select the account you want to transfer from
4. Enter the amount, choose Recurring Transfer and transfer to My own account
5. Click Continue
6. Select the account you want to transfer to
7. Set the start date, frequency and end date
8. Click Continue
9. After you review the details, click Confirm

1. Log in to your FirstOntario mobile app
2. Tap Transfers
3. Choose To My Account
4. Select the accounts, amount and Recurring
5. Hit Continue
6. Choose the frequency, hit Continue and Confirm
