FirstOntario Credit Union stands with our Niagara communities.
As a committed community partner, we know how important it is to support recovery, build resilience and help people move forward together.
In response to significant flooding across parts of the Niagara Region, FirstOntario gave a $10,000 donation to Day of Giving Niagara to help support residents, families and communities affected by the emergency.
The initiative raised over $40,000 for flood relief programs at FEED Niagara. Money raised through this initiative will be used to purchase food and essential cleaning and disinfecting products that will be assembled into care packages.
This donation is kicking off our broader flood relief campaign, where we’ll give an additional $25,000 to local organizations that are dedicated to helping our Niagara neighbours.
