FirstOntario is proud to be a continuing sponsor for the Brantford Bulldogs. Join us in cheering them on in the 2026 OHL Eastern Conference Playoffs against the Barrie Colts.

2026 Tim Hortons Smile Cookie Campaign
April 27 - May 2

Every cookie makes a difference! From April 27 through May 2, these yummy cookies will be available to purchase at Tim Hortons restaurants. 100 percent of the proceeds from each cookie sold will be donated to local charities and organizations in each community. FirstOntario Blue Wave employee volunteers will be helping to put the smiles on cookies during the week.

BeFit Day

Ticats BeFit Program, presented by FirstOntario Credit Union, aims to educate the youth of TigerTown and the surrounding regions on the importance of living a healthy and active lifestyle and is led by Ticats players and Dance & Cheer Team members.
Each year, the Ticats host a BeFit Day held at Tim Hortons Field for elementary school students. FirstOntario Blue Wave employee volunteers are on hand to make the day successful.

Comfort Bears

Across our communities
Comfort Bears provides cuddly bears for children with terminal illness or experiencing serious trauma. Having a bear to hold onto makes a big difference for a child going through difficult times in their young lives. FirstOntario Blue Wave employee volunteers will be helping to tag, sort and pack bears for delivery to various hospitals and hospices.

Food4Kids Niagara Pack Night

Supporting food insecurity is important to FirstOntario. Food4Kids ensures children with limited or no access to food receive a package of food for the weekend. FirstOntario's Blue Wave employee volunteers are helping assemble the packages so they can be delivered on Friday.

Ladies Who Give – in support of Keaton's House – Paul Paletta Children's Hospice

Every year the Ladies Who Give gather a community of women to support organizations in the community. This year they are rolling out the red carpet for Meet me in the Hills in support of Keaton's House - Paul Paletta Children's Hospice. FirstOntario's Blue Wave employee volunteers will be on hand to support a successful event.

12th Annual CARE Walk & Roll

The 12th Annual CARE Walk in support of the Cancer Assistance program is taking place with fundraising supporting individuals and families affected by cancer. FirstOntario is proud to be the presenting sponsor and have our Blue Wave employee volunteers participate in this event.

The Charity of Hope has granted wishes that have given hope to thousands of children, youth and their families since 1996. FirstOntario was proud to sponsor the Charity of Hope Gala and this year's fundraiser. - Gore Park Community Outreach
The Gore Park Community Outreach makes a difference in Downtown Hamilton by serving nearly 1,000 guests weekly at Gore Park. They provide food, drinks, and a sense of community to seniors, families, refugees, and those experiencing homelessness. FirstOntario's Blue Wave employee volunteers recently supported the weekly event.
