Boots in the Creek

Downtown Stoney Creek
Visit the free, two-day Country Music Festival in downtown Stoney Creek showcasing music, culture, performances, food, drink, and local businesses. FirstOntario is proud to be a sponsor of this year's event.

Pride at the Pier
Friday, August 21 – Saturday, August 22
Pier 4 Park, Hamilton
Join Pride Hamilton at the Pier on August 21 - 22. Pride at the Pier will bring vendors, performers, local eats and family-friendly activities for everyone to enjoy. FirstOntario's Blue Wave employee volunteers will be on hand on Saturday at the FirstOntario tent, so come by and say hello and get your keepsake photo!

Gore Park Community Outreach

The Gore Park Community Outreach makes a difference in Downtown Hamilton by serving nearly 1,000 guests every week. They are now located behind City Hall. They provide food, drinks, and a sense of community to seniors, families, refugees, and those experiencing homelessness. FirstOntario's Blue Wave employee volunteers will be lending a hand.

Operation Backpack
Wednesday, September 2
Hamilton
For over 15 years, Operation Backpack has provided backpacks filled with school supplies for children across Hamilton in partnership with Hamilton Steelworkers Area Council and other local supporters. FirstOntario has donated to the goal to raise $68,000 and will see Blue Wave employee volunteers help to full the 2,000 backpacks in advance of the start of school.

Halton Police Foundation Gala

The community is "Coming Together" for the annual Halton Heroes Gala with this year's proceeds enabling the Foundation to support essential programs for at-risk youth across Halton Region. FirstOntario is pleased to be a sponsor at this year's event.

The exclusive, one-of-a-kind car show will feature over 50 exotic and limited-edition vehicles, plus activities, vendors and more. FirstOntario is proud to be the registration sponsor and support the Joseph Brant Hospital Foundation.

OCUF 35th Annual Golf Classic

Royal Ontario Golf Club, Milton
This year marks the 35th annual tournament that supports the CU Succeed Youth Bursary for students in post-secondary studies. FirstOntario is proud to be a partner in this fundraiser that has seen 664 students awarded $836,000 for their education since 2016.
