Imagine in the Park

Imagine In the Park is a free children’s arts festival held annually to showcase the importance of children and the arts through a free, interactive arts festival where children and families can learn from professional artists and authors through discovery and creative expression.

The annual Sydenham Challenge Dragon Boat Festival offers a day of excitement, teamwork, and friendly competition celebrating the spirit of community and sportsmanship. FirstOntario is pleased to be support this event this year.
Food4Kids Niagara Pack Night

Supporting food insecurity is important to FirstOntario. Food4Kids ensures children with limited or no access to food receive a package of food for the weekend. FirstOntario's Blue Wave employee volunteers are helping assemble the packages so they can be delivered on Friday.
Theatre Aquarius Gala

This year's theme is Dreaming in Technicolour, providing an opportunity to highlight performances that includes dinner and one-of-a-kind auction experiences that support the continued work of theatre in the city. FirstOntario is proud to be a sponsor of the event.
Port Colborne Community Safety Day

FirstOntario is pleased this year to sponsor the free, annual community event designed to promote safety awareness, emergency preparedness and injury prevention. Fun for all ages and families and features a bicycle rodeo for children.

The annual Community Spirt Awards celebrate leadership, dedication and community involvement in Oakville. FirstOntario is pleased to sponsor the Leadership and Innovation Award this year as well as the Arts, Culture and Heritage Award under Creative Arts Financial, a division of FirstOntario Credit Union.

Niagara Nutrition Partners was excited for the return of the annual Breakfast Gala that included a student cook-off, guest chef judges and live music in support of vital programming that nourishes students. The FirstOntario 1Awards put the spotlight on small businesses by recognizing past success, care for community and future ambition. We were thrilled to highlight the 10 business finalists and announce Hamilton's Tijuana Tom's House of Hot Sauce, Oakville's Ecoboard Inc., Niagara's Arms Open Counselling and Swept Away Services as the 2026 prize winners. - Ladies Who Give – in support of Keaton's House – Paul Paletta Children's Hospice
Every year the Ladies Who Give gather a community of women to support organizations in the community. This year they rolled out the red carpet for Meet me in the Hills in support of Keaton's House - Paul Paletta Children's Hospice. FirstOntario's Blue Wave employee volunteers were on hand to support a successful event. - 12th Annual CARE Walk & Roll
The 12th Annual CARE Walk in support of the Cancer Assistance program took place with individuals and families affected by cancer raising fundraising dollars. FirstOntario was proud to be the presenting sponsor and have our Blue Wave employee volunteers participate in this event.
