FirstOntario Visa cardholders who are experiencing financial stress due to the impacts of COVID-19 can contact our credit card partner Collabria Financial to request financial relief. Collabria is committed to working with our personal and business Members to understand their needs and to do what they can to help. 

Two forms of credit card payment relief are being offered together as a package:

1. Deferral of minimum payments for up to three months at a time. Cardholders can call in after three months to request an extension to six months, if needed.
2. Reduced interest rate of 10.9% for up to six months.

Collabria is also helping Members by:

• Providing emergency credit limit increases for Canadians who are stuck outside of Canada who are trying to get home, to cover airfare, car rentals, food, shelter, medical supplies, medications and other expenses. 
  
• Increasing contactless payments to $250 for grocery, convenience stores and pharmacies
