Tricia Hellingman has operated a successful public relations and marketing agency for almost 30 years, serving both small businesses and large national corporations.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Ryerson University and a Chartered Director designation from the DeGroote School of Business at McMaster University. She is working towards a Canadian Securities Institute designation.
Tricia was a member of the National Board of the Canadian Public Relations Society, Board Chair of The Hamilton Club, member of the Board for CAA South Central Ontario, member of the West GTA branch of the Institute of Corporate Directors and a member of the Council of Governors of the YMCA of Hamilton-Burlington-Brantford. Tricia was the corporate fundraising campaign Chair of the Lung Association of the Hamilton District and she collaborated with a group of neighbourhood volunteers to bring nationally-renowned musicians to the “Live on Locke” concert series in support of the charity, “An Instrument for Every Child.”
She also supports the St. John Ambulance Therapy Dog program.
Tricia and her Scottish Terrier, Millie, make regular visits to seniors in a local nursing home.
